Dr. Charles Evans was born and raised in South Dakota. He attended the University of Colorado (on a football scholarship), South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and the University of South Dakota where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics. Dr. Evans received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and his Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics from Loyola School of Dentistry, graduating with a 3.9 grade point average. His fraternities include Delta Sigma Delta and Delta Tau Delta. Dr. Evans is a member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Waukesha County Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, and the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the Blue Key Honor Society.
Additionally, Dr. Charles Evans was an instructor in the orthodontic graduate program at Marquette University School of Dentistry and Loyola University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Evans’ wealth of orthodontic knowledge has influenced many dentists, oral surgeons, and peers alike. He welcomes the challenge of those treatments considered difficult or out of the norm and is happy to share his expertise whenever the opportunity presents itself. His love for orthodontics continues after 40 years of providing outstanding orthodontic service to the Waukesha community. He enjoys working with his patients and staff to create a more beautiful world…one smile at a time!
Dr. Evans is very proud of his three sons, one daughter, six grandchildren, and his wife, Dr. Evonne Evans. His desire to practice orthodontics is shared by his brother and two nephews who currently practice in South Dakota. His interest in sports and exercise has included participating in marathons (Boston Marathon twice), triathlons (1st place 20 times), cross-country ski races, and snowboarding. He now enthusiastically shares some of that passion with his grandchildren. More recently he enjoys photography and agate collecting.
