We are excited to meet new, prospective patients! Your first visit will include a review of your medical and dental history, digital photographs, panoramic x-ray, and a comprehensive examination of your teeth and bite. This will be followed by a discussion of your potential orthodontic treatment. We are also able to complete your orthodontic records at the first visit, if your time permits. The records include a cephalometric (head) x-ray and impressions (study models) of your teeth. These records are evaluated by the orthodontist to develop your custom diagnosis and treatment plan, and a follow-up appointment will be scheduled to thoroughly discuss the recommended orthodontic treatment in detail, including the fee and payment arrangements. The records are also beneficial in tracking the progress of treatment, as your teeth move under orthodontic care.
We are easily able to share your digital photographs and radiographs with you and other dentists caring for your teeth.
